My story

This sweet and sensitive gal has already had a hard knock in life. Rey was found abandoned at a boat dock in Oregon and picked up by Law Enforcement. She eventually landed at Tillamook K9 Rescue and they found out her owner had dumped her at the dock! Thankfully, the rescue recognized her abundance of energy, over the top friendliness, and ball obsession and they reached out to us to see if she might have what it takes to be a search and rescue dog.

Well, she didn't have quite what it takes to do search and rescue work (not enough focus and drive) but she did have what it takes to become a staff favorite!

She enjoys a game of fetch as well as the next gal but doesn't HAVE to have a ball to have a ball! She likes training, learning, running and playing in the water and making staff laugh with some of her expressions.

She's a sensitive soul and would really like to get back to living with her people (whoever they may be) in a calm yet active household.

Rey is active, energetic and athletic (any sports enthusiasts out there?) but she also has an off switch and although perhaps reserved at first, when she warms up to someone, she can go all in.

She is a young girl who needs some stability in her life and a warm heart to go with it. If you are looking for a sweet, fun, energetic companion, who might just watch TV with you too...Rey would like to apply for that job, please!
