My story

EMERSON is ready to be your new best friend! She is approximately 1 ½ years old. She is a typical black and white or tuxedo cat with 4 white feet. EMERSON talks and is very vocal. She purrs and will knead on you gently with her paws. She loves people and will follow you everywhere; she even comes to you when you call her name! This poor soul was rescued from an area outside where cats and kittens were all living in grave danger. EMERSON likes adult cats and dogs and is good with people and children of all ages. Everyone loves a little kitten but if you don’t have the time or the patience with a baby, EMERSON is the perfect choice – come and meet her at her foster home!

If you are interested in adopting EMERSON please fill out the matchmaking questionnaire at: Adoption Donation: $125 includes spay/neuter, de worming, ear treatment, vet check, and all shots up through date of adoption.

Why adoption is a great option

EMERSON, a Glendale Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Glendale, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Glendale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glendale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glendale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glendale paves the way for another one to be saved.
