My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Summerly was found as a stray in rural georgia and she came down on transport. This adorable beagle mix has a loving personality and will thrive in a loving home! This is what the summerly foster had to say about her:

Summerly started out very scared, very meek and scared of sudden movements and sounds. As she has gotten more comfortable with me, she has revealed herself to be sassy, stubborn and just full of energy. She loves her safe place in her crate. She loves frisbees, tug, flirt poles digging, long walks, chewing and trying to con her way into my bed. She grows bolder by the day and her chewing is much better now that she has learned 'Leave it', 'Back' and stay. When she gets excited, she does her zoomies and may get a bit mouthy. She has never broken skin and she is learning to not do that in her excitement. She gets anxious on her own and will chew so crating her until she grows past this stage is ideal because nothing is off limits. Loves scratches around her belly and tailbone, hates baths and is an all around fantastic baby girl. She is great with other dogs and fully housetrained! She a loving, sweet energetic happy girl.

summerly is heartworm positive but is very young and she undergoing the slow kill method of treatment. She been on 30 days of doxycycline and has rec a proheart 12 injection (heartworm prevention for 1 year). She will not need a retest for one year!
