Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Quincy is a gorgeous 1.5 year old red tri Australian Shepherd, with a cute nub tail. He weighs about 50 pounds. He's been trained by the cat in his current home and is also good with kids. He is also good with other dogs though would benefit from some individual attention.
He was raised with his sister Louisa, and they can feed off of each other's vices. He's also not good with chickens, so a home with small prey animals is not recommended. He plays nicely and generally doesn't jump up but can get riled up if you rough house with him.
He is crate-trained, house trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives.
Quincy is still a young Aussie with lots of energy, and if you don't give him something to do, he will find something. He needs an assortment of acceptable things to chew and supervision so he does not dig in the yard. He does have some leash and barrier reactivity with people and other dogs, so he will need some work on that as well.
Quincy is a gem of a dog and just needs someone who's willing to work on his training and ongoing exercise and socialization needs. If interested, please contact fdowdy@gmail.com.
Quincy is located in Vinton, VA. There is $150 adoption fee to ensure folks with good intentions.
