My story

Hi I'm Charlie!  My foster mom says I'm the sweetest girl!  I can be a little shy at first but it doesn't take me long to be your best friend and did I mention that I love to cuddle!  My mom was a lab mix and my dad was a Jack Russell so I will probably be a medium to large dog with little legs!  I am currently about 3 months old and I weigh about 12 lbs.  I have the cutest little nub tail and everyone says they put my tail on wrong because it wags up and down!  Everyone always tells me I'm the cutest puppy!  I love all my toys and all my foster pup siblings.

Charlie  is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio.  The adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state  with  transport. An adoption application, home visit and adoption contract are all required.  All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites.  If you would like more information or an adoption application, please email us at sgdrsa@outlook.com.

Why adoption is a great option

CHARLIE, a San Antonio Labrador Retriever/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
