My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alan is a cute male kitten who was born in our shelter when his mother (Genevieve) gave birth to four kittens on April 7, 2022 (Agnes, Alan, Oliver, and William).

Alan has a brown tabby short smooth coat, a long ringed tail, and an adorable triangular-shaped face with golden eyes, a brown velvet nose, a splash of white on his muzzle, and long white whiskers.

Alan and his siblings were separated from their mother in late May since they were fully weaned, and momma Genevieve was spayed and placed in our HSOV Free-Roaming Room. Sadly, their little sister (Agnes) did not survive and passed away on May 15th.

Mother Genevieve was combo tested on April 1, 2022 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm .. which is also great news for her kittens.

Alan was given vaccinations on May 19, 2022 and was given booster vaccines on June 13, 2022.

Alan was given wormer and flea treatment on June 25, 2022. He was also combo tested that day and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm.

Alan has a fun-loving, playful personality and royally entertained our photographer when these photos were taken on June 22nd. Alan was especially interested in a small CD player/radio and tried his best to figure out out to turn it on.

Alan was neutered on July 15, 2022 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 4.4 lbs that day.

Alan has been sharing a cage with his brother (Oliver) who was also neutered on July 15th. These boys would love to find a home together either through adoption or rescue.

Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
