My story

Are you waiting for your miracle (kitten)?  Then this one is for you!  Mirabel is a 3.5-month-old kitten (as of mid-July) who is looking for her own door.  I’ve rarely seen a kitten with such a unique and brightly colored tabby coat with a super-expressive face to boot.  She loves meal time, playing hard, sleeping on soft beds, and snuggling with her foster siblings.  She gets along with adult cats and does not tend to pester them as she plays independently quite well but I think she would certainly enjoy a younger or active adult cat to tussle with.  She comes to you litter box trained, spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, and with all age-appropriate vaccinations so email your phone number to rockcityrescue@gmail.com to adopt this captivating girl.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All animals 3 months or older must be sterilized prior to adoption. There is an adoption contract that is signed once an adopter had been approved for an adoption. There is no fee to apply for a dog, but adoption fees vary from dog to dog. Currently, this rescue is run by one person and a lot of foster homes. We have full-time jobs like everyone else, so please be patient with us while we return your calls and emails. 99% of the time, we return emails within 24-48 hours.

More about this rescue

We are committed to rescuing and rehoming dogs and cats who have been abandoned or lost. We pull dogs from high kill shelters to help them be united with loving forever home, as well as help rehome animals found as strays and help families rehome their own pets they can no longer care for.
