My story

Luisa is a 3.5-month-old kitten (as of mid-July) and was rescued with her three littermates snugly tucked in behind a flower box in an unsuspecting family's backyard.  She is short and stout with stunning tabby markings and some gorgeous big eyes!  She hasn’t been around dogs thus far in her life but I don’t think it would be an issue for her.  Not one not to pester a cat that doesn’t want to be bothered, but she adores her adult foster brother and is never far out of his shadow.   I'm sure she would enjoy a similar aged or friendly adult cat or amicable dog to tussle with.  She comes to you litter box trained, spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, and with all age-appropriate vaccinations so email your phone number to rockcityrescue@gmail.com to adopt this delightful girl.  No Pressure!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All animals 3 months or older must be sterilized prior to adoption. There is an adoption contract that is signed once an adopter had been approved for an adoption. There is no fee to apply for a dog, but adoption fees vary from dog to dog. Currently, this rescue is run by one person and a lot of foster homes. We have full-time jobs like everyone else, so please be patient with us while we return your calls and emails. 99% of the time, we return emails within 24-48 hours.

More about this rescue

We are committed to rescuing and rehoming dogs and cats who have been abandoned or lost. We pull dogs from high kill shelters to help them be united with loving forever home, as well as help rehome animals found as strays and help families rehome their own pets they can no longer care for.
