My story

Meet Myrtle!

This puppy is part of a surprise litter from our girl, Bellatrix, who is also available for adoption. Bellatrix is an Australian Cattle Dog mix, although the father remains unknown.

These pups are working on socialization, crate training, potty training, and basic obedience in their foster homes. They are all very personable and sweet puppies that enjoy training and are fast learners! They are food and toy motivated and are fun to interact with. They have all been socialized with many people and children throughout their time with us and would make excellent members of the family.

Bellatrix's puppies all come with two FREE weeks of Found Training Center's PupStart program. In addition, our adopter's receive 50% off of all training services at Found for the lifetime of the dog and 15% off at Mojo Dog Co. in Chicago. To meet any of our adoptable, please fill out an application or contact for more info.

Why adoption is a great option

Myrtle, a Chicago Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
