Zack is a handsome 1-1/2 year old male Labrador Retriever who was brought to the HSOV on July 19, 2022 by a Good Samaritan who found him at the Landings Campground in Reno Ohio along with Cody (who is most likely his brother) . Neither Zack nor Cody were wearing a collar, and they were not microchipped.
Zack has a sleek black short smooth coat, a long tail, and a beautiful face with expressive brown eyes, a black button nose, and large floppy ears.
Zack and Cody appear to be very bonded and didn't want to separated from each other, so HSOV Kennel Tech Fredley Tynan and HSOV Kennel Manager Rachal Merrow teamed up to take the boys outside together for their photo session. Fredley accompanied Zack while Rachal held Cody close by.
Zack was a little in awe of the 'paparazzi' and wasn't too sure about her motives when she kept snapping pictures of him (which explains some of his quirky facial expressions).
Zack weighs 76.6 lbs and is fairly strong on a leash.
In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Zack and Cody will be held for three days so that their family will have an opportunity to reclaim their with proof of ownership.
Since he was not reclaimed, Zack was neutered on August 5, 2022 and was also given rabies vaccine.
