My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cody is a handsome 1-1/2 year old male Labrador Retriever who was brought to the HSOV on July 19, 2022 by a Good Samaritan who found him at the Landings Campground in Reno Ohio along with Zack (who is most likely his brother) . Neither Cody nor Zack were wearing a collar, and they were not microchipped.

Cody has a shiny black short smooth coat with brown shading on his hind quarters, a long tail, and an adorable rather innocent-looking face with expressive brown eyes, a black button nose, and large floppy ears.

Cody and Zack appear to be very bonded and didn't want to separated from each other, so HSOV Kennel Manager Rachal Merrow and HSOV Kennel Tech Fredley Tynan teamed up to take the boys outside together for their photo session. Rachal accompanied Cody while Fredley held Zack nearby.

Cody seemed to be the more docile/calm partner of this dynamic duo while they had their Petfinder/Facebook pictures taken.

Cody weighs 69.2 lbs and walks fairly well on a leash.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Zack and Cody will be held for three days so that their family will have an opportunity to reclaim their with proof of ownership.

Since he was not reclaimed, Cody was neutered on August 5, 2022 and was also given rabies vaccine.
