My story

Meet our handsome 4 year old almost all white cat looking to find a home where he will be your one and only! He is a very sweet and playful boy. Vinny loves getting pet and getting attention. - including belly rubs and butt rubs!!  While being pet, he lowers his head and headbutts you :)  He also has one of the loudest purrs! His favorite toy is a wand with a feather.   Vinny is almost always making biscuits - even while standing or sleeping (but never when eating - lol). Vinny is a very neat eater and leaves nothing behind. He is also vert treat motivated. At his foster's home, he is very patient in the morning, waiting for his foster mom to wake up. And once he hears her stirring, he will rub his head all over hers and give her the best "good morning" purrs.

During Vinny's recent vet visit, the veterinarian noted that Vinny has a grade 2/3 heart murmur. We had an echocardiogram performed on Vinny, so that we could ensure that Vinny has the proper treatment plan.  The results of the echocardiogram is that he has HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy). He is on 2 medications once a day - atenolol, and enalapril (both are low doses). He takes the meds like a champ (we just put it in a pill pocket in his wet food). He will need echocardiograms once a year to monitor his heart. He also had crystals in his urine when we first took him in so we have had him on a urinary diet which has improved the urine results. He thankfully has not showed any urinary signs but we will keep him on the urinary diet to be safe!

Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped.

All of our pets go home with a "Go Home Goody Bag" that includes a starter supply of food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of pet insurance from Trupanion.
