My story

Meet Harley. Like most of our dogs, Harley found himself behind bars in an overcrowded shelter. Despite weeks of searching, his owner never came forward to claim him. And also, like most of our dogs, Harley had some medical issues that needed to be addressed.
Harley was rather overweight when he came to us. He had some skin issues and some bladder problems. Antibiotics, prescription diet and lots and lots of walkies have him headed in the right direction. Harley is a wonderful dog. He kennels well (although he is usually left out now and is great), he walks well on a leash. He loves a calmer environment, and prefers to be less social, but does ok with low key dogs. Interested parties should head to our website for an application. https://www.savinggraceanimalrescuemd.com
***Harley will need a family prepared to purchase his prescription food. He will also need to continue on oral allergy medicine and/or injections.

Go meet their pets

We understand the desire to meet our animals as soon as possible but because we operate entirely out of foster homes, we need to limit pet visitation to approved applicants only. Once your application is completed by you and approved by Saving Grace, we will be glad to schedule your visit.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue. As a rescue, it is our mission to end the neglect of animals across the east coast by rescuing them and helping find their forever home. We want to save the lives of pets and enhance the lives of people by finding the perfect new fur-baby for each family! We do not have a facility, our fosters accept these rescue dogs and cats into their homes out of their love for animals.
