My story

Sugar is as sweet as her name. This precious 1 year old mama was rescued with her 2 babies from terrible conditions. She is truly a beauty and is now healthy and happy. She loves to be around people and other kitty/ dog friends and we feel she would really enjoy a home with other pets. She is an affectionate girl who also loves to play. She deserves the happiest of endings, spoiled for the rest of her life. Can that be with you?

At present time, Sugar requires special food due to a sensitive stomach. It has controlled her symptoms well. We hope she may not require this food her whole life but her adopter should be advised this is possible.

If you are interested in meeting Sugar, please fill out an application via our website at
and we will get back to you via email once your application has been reviewed. If you have further questions please feel free to reach out to us at This will get you the fastest response.

Sugar's adoption fee is $75 and includes age appropriate vaccines, spay, microchip, dewormer.

All cats adopted from The Rescue Project are intended to be indoor only cats.

Why adoption is a great option

Sugar, a Overland Park Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
