My story

Hi!! Roxie here! I’m ready and so excited to start the search for my forever family. I’m around 5-6 months old and I only weigh around 25lbs right now. I do well in my crate with appropriate potty breaks (every few hours) and I’m making good progress with potty training!

I love kids, and I could be in a household with a calm dog. But I’d also be absolutely fine as an only fur child. I love toys and I love to cuddle! I sleep in the bed with my foster family or the kids currently, so I’m looking for a home where I can hopefully continue that.

A fenced in yard and someone home more often than not are preferred.

Thank you for your interest in one of our furry kids! Adopting from Releash Atlanta means you will adopt a dog that has been fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped and medically cleared!! Our adoption fee is $350

**We only adopt to families in/around Atlanta, Ga (about a 1-2 hour perimeter)**

Why adoption is a great option

Roxie, a Atlanta Mixed Breed (Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mixed Breed (Medium) for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Mixed Breed (Medium) dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mixed Breed (Medium) breeders who help with Mixed Breed (Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
