My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Chickpea is a domestic shorthair tabby with a big personality! She loves to be the center of attention and isn't afraid to tell you that! She loves to chat away with her people while purring an exceptionally loud purr. She is incredibly smart and has sweet amber eyes that make anyone melt!
Chickpea's best friend is her brother Tofu and the two must be adopted together. Her boisterous nature balances Tofu's zen personality perfectly, making them a great match for any home.
Chickpea may do best in a home that does not have any other cats, as she prefers to be the dominant kitty of the house!
If you are interested in adopting Chickpea and Tofu, please complete an on-line application for either kitten at www.animalrescueforce.org.  The link to the form is reached by clicking 'adopting' under their photo.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

A potential adopter fills out an adoption application in person or online. The application is reviewed by an Adoption Counselor. Then that applicant is interviewed and, if the candidate and the pet are a good match, the paperwork is completed to finalize the adoption.

Many of our animals are in foster homes, but we do have some cats and dogs at our Adoption Center in West Palm Beach. We also have adoptable cats on site at several PetSupermarket locations throughout Palm Beach County, as well as at the Delray Beach PetSmart. We have adoption events on most weekends all over Palm Beach County. Please visit our website, www.animalrescueforce.org, and click on Events to see what events are coming up.
