My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack is a happy and sweet fellow, completely oblivious to the fact that he is wearing only one sock. He couldn't care less! He's way more interested in playing ball or hanging out with you. Although everyone he meets tends to fall a little bit in love (he's definitely a staff favorite) he is looking for his special someone(s) that he can love back with his big soft heart.

He had a short career as a detection dog searching for various contraband at public events and schools. The pandemic hit, his work dried up and while he was relaxing, he decided he would rather live with an active and loving family than do that working thing.

He would love his special someone(s) to play fetch and tug with him, take him on walks and hikes, and play in the water with him (he LOVES water!) He has a lovely 'off' switch and has no problem curling up on the couch with his someone(s), if invited.

He has a soft spot in his big soft heart for his good friend, Luka (pictured below). Luka, who is four years old, came out to play with Jack and found that he was a wonderful companion for a boy his age. Jack 'downsized' his energy to kid level and was very gentle with Luka on their playdate...taking treats like a gentleman, playing fetch without knocking anyone down and enjoying all the scratches and pets that Luka dished out. We think he might love and thrive in a family situation.

He is a beautiful boy inside and out. He is nicely trained and used to disciplined work, he would excel at any type of scent work sports, or other more active pursuits as well. He is active, athletic and fit (besides being exceptionally cute.)

Big Fun Jack!

He would prefer to be the only dog in a household, so he can have all of your big soft heart to himself. Could you be his special someone(s)?
