Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shasta is a one-year old, spayed puppy. She walks well on the leash, loves hiking, and enjoys regular trips to the dog park. Like many border collies, she needs a lot of daily exercise to stay happy. Shasta has excellent recall and does well off leash, but a fenced yard is a plus. She is friendly with all people. She likes to give hugs to people she knows, but isn’t a jumper otherwise. Her favorite activities include biting water from the hose, playing with empty water bottles, cuddling with her people, and chasing other dogs who are chasing balls (she doesn’t care much about the ball itself). She is perfectly house-trained and she learns new things very quickly. If you are a runner or hiker, she could be the perfect companion.
Shasta needs to be the only dog in the home. Our reason for rehoming her is that she does not get along with my other dog, a young female Shepherd mix. Experience with herding breeds is a must. Please reach out for more details about this amazing girl!
