Update from my foster 6/25: Walter is doing great! We love him so much. He has the happiest, playful personality. He loves playing with other dogs and loves exploring the yard. He is so happy being on a soft blanket with a toy. Couldn't be easier to take care of!

Update from my foster 6/14: He is a very good puppy! Walter is very dog and people friendly. He always wants to be in the same room as you but is very content just laying on his blanket and chewing on toys, sometimes for hours. He loves his baths! And not once accident in his crate so far.

Walter found himself all alone in a rural shelter in Alabama. He was in pretty bad shape, suffering from mange and infected ears. Fortunately, the shelter was able to successfully treat him, and as soon as he was healthy enough to travel, he came to Maryland to find his forever home!

Walter is around 3 months old and 10 lbs. At best guess, he is some kind of Black mouth cur/Terrier mix, though we can never know for sure! Walter is a sweet and gentle puppy who has done great with all dogs and people he's met so far. He likes to play hard before napping even harder. Like all puppies, he's looking for a forever home with the time, patience, and love to train him into the best boy he can be.
