My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Simon, a handsome, White, Domestic Short Hair with Brown Tabby markings and a gentle, sweet disposition.

This boy LOVES the attention from his human(s) but can be shy with strangers. His favorite place to be is in your lap and he'll immediately roll over for belly rubs.... which gets his motor going. The moment you walk in the door, Simon's likely to greet you. He'll walk between your legs (when you're seated) and stand on his haunches, gently placing his paws on your knee for pets... or asking if it's all right he comes on board.

This fella was rescued from a colony at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center (in Mission Hills, CA) where he was being fed by the kind nurses and hospital staff. They were going TNR'd (hence the ear tip) but the night I drove to release them, there was a coyote hunting near their feeding station. I just didn't have the heart to do it.

Simon has been raised with his brother (who's been adopted) and is currently best pals with an older, gray-striped Tabby kitten, named Crackers) so he'll do best in a home with `another affectionate, playful feline.

Simon's adoption will include his:
* Neuter,
* De-worming,
* FVRCP vaccinations,
* Rabies vaccination,
* Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative),
* Flea and mite treatment (with Revolution),
* and Micro chipping!

~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~

* Please only contact us if you'll be making Simon a permanent member of your household and will be keeping him safe indoors.

** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. For example: another kitten or cat will teach them when they're playing too rough or biting too hard. Plus, cats and kittens get very lonely when you're not at home! Having a playmate will keep them happier, healthier and out of trouble. **We offer a discount when adopting a pair!

*** You can also find all our adoptables on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including their rescue story, photos and video updates).

Interested in becoming a much-needed foster? Please send us a message with your best contact info, the type of home environment you can provide and, most-importantly, the City in which you live. Thanks!
