Welcome Reba to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 3-year-old Black Mouth Cur/Lab. She weighs 60 pounds. Her owner has an illness that makes her skin fraguke and makes her bleed easily if her skin is scratched. Her owner is sad but her doctor says Reba needs a new home. She is a great dog. In my opinion, looks like good therapy dog material. She is very bonded and snuggles nicely up to you once she knows and trusts you. She is affectionate, good on a leash, loyal, good in a car, potty trained, healthy and ready for her forever home. She has lived with an older lady and now she is looking for a new home. She would be fine in just about any setting. She has not lived with another dog so we think a similar home would be best unless it is Texas and we can introduce your dog. She is a lovely dog and will make some lucky family a lower energy dog a great companion. She doesn’t jump up and has some nice manners. She does paw when she wants your attention. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 250 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states
