My story

Sam is one of two puppies relinquished to us by a family, He is a great outdoor activity dog, he will be great for running, hiking, and beach days. Although he is not bonded to his brother, it would be great if they both go to a well experienced adopter together. Sam comes fully vetted, neutered and microchipped.
We are a rescue so an adoption fee will apply.
We do not ship or send dogs out of state
No kids under 16 years old
No cats
If interested go to and fill out the adoption application

Why adoption is a great option

Sam, a Escondido Great Dane/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/Labrador Retriever for sale in Escondido, or seeking a Great Dane/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Escondido.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Escondido already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Escondido breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Great Dane/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Escondido paves the way for another one to be saved.
