My story

Here is what Jojo's foster mom says about this darling little girl: "She is very happy and active; not timid at all. Is okay being the only cat and keeps herself busy but I'm sure would love a playmate. She has a quiet meow. She doesn't purr excessively but will when she's ready to settle down. Her tail is always in the cutest "happy" position with it curling back towards her head. She follows us around the house wanting to interact with us. When it's nap time, she loves to cuddle up near our laps or legs. She is very good with the litter box and eats both canned and dry food just fine."

Why adoption is a great option

JOJO, a Monrovia Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Monrovia, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Monrovia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monrovia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monrovia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monrovia paves the way for another one to be saved.
