Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tara is such a sweet dog. We estimate her age might be 12 years old. She was brought into my parents' home as my dad was recovering from heart surgery. It totally lifted his spirits, while we were with us. Since his passing in 2015, Tara has been a loyal companion to our mother. She is progressing through Alzheimer which has made life much more localized for Tara. She has become trained to pee/poo on pet pads because my mother cannot remember to let her out or back in. This has worked very successfully for the last 6 years. However, you can see how this creates an adoption complexity since she might need to be retrained on going outside. We are unsure if she can do that, but we do know that with pet pads she is very responsible. Our mom is transitioning to skilled nursing facility. Due to allergies and rental agreements, we cannot adopt Tara ourselves. We dearly hope to find her forever home for her silver years she has left.
