My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Bessie was rescued from a hoarding situation by our county shelter. She became urgent to rescue from there because she was so shy. She has since become a sweet loving cat (just like Goose from the same home)! She sleeps in a chair next to her foster mom most of the time. She is still afraid of loud noises and sudden movements, but has come a long way!

Bessie will need an experienced, patient owner who can work with her.  She will also need a quiet home.  Bessie has been fine with another foster cat and a large dog.  Please fill out an on-line application if interested in this sweet girl!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

A potential adopter fills out an adoption application in person or online. The application is reviewed by an Adoption Counselor. Then that applicant is interviewed and, if the candidate and the pet are a good match, the paperwork is completed to finalize the adoption.

Many of our animals are in foster homes, but we do have some cats and dogs at our Adoption Center in West Palm Beach. We also have adoptable cats on site at several PetSupermarket locations throughout Palm Beach County, as well as at the Delray Beach PetSmart. We have adoption events on most weekends all over Palm Beach County. Please visit our website, www.animalrescueforce.org, and click on Events to see what events are coming up.
