My story

Courtesy post

Hi, I’m Rocky and I’m 80 lbs. of pure silliness and love. My previous family dumped me at a high-kill shelter…  thankfully though, the staff loved me so much they kept me alive for 31 days until a rescuer saved me. I am super sweet and everyone I meet says I’m quite the catch. I’m about two years old, I know all my commands, I’m eager to please and I love playing with my toys! And walks – I love my walks! Won’t you be my forever friend? I’m fixed, utd on shots, good with other dogs and ready for some fun! Contact rachel@weilpr.com to adopt me.

Why adoption is a great option

Rocky, a West Hollywood German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in West Hollywood, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in West Hollywood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Hollywood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Hollywood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Hollywood paves the way for another one to be saved.
