My story

We were called about Lady Bird when she had her head stuck in a metal gate.

Well, look at this girl now! She is a content cutie in her foster home!

Lady bird had to be trimmed because of her severe matting - huskies need their coats year long - medical shaving is the only excuse to ever trim a husky(And PSA for the dogs as well: don't stick your head through fences 😫)

Lady Bird didn't have an owner looking for her - so she is now ready for adoption!

Lady Bird is around two years old.

In order to adopt Lady Bird, you have to be capable of keeping your doors and windows shut! 🤭
Har adoption fee of $275 includes up to date vet care, vaccines, dewormer, microchip and spay surgery post adoption.

Why adoption is a great option

Lady Bird, a Detroit Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
