Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING**
Baymax is a handsome adult Ridgeback/Shepherd mix who is looking for a person to call his own. His previous owner passed away. The family is unable to adopt Baymax due to their own commitments. The owner’s granddaughter is fostering Baymax until a suitable home can be found.
Baymax is approximately seven year of age and 69 pounds. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. He was adopted as a six month old pup and is accustomed to being inside. While he is active outside, he is good natured, obedient and calm indoors. He was trained to go to his place and lie on his bed while indoors. He will get up and play only if invited.
Outdoors Baymax loves walks, chasing balls and chewing on pine cones. He is quite the character! He displays a prey drive chasing wildlife, so he would probably not do well in a home with cats.
Baymax is outgoing and friendly with strangers. He does best with children of at least three years of age. Baymax loves to play with other dogs, but has a dominant nature which can be an issue with other dominant dogs.
Baymax is house trained (of course he would need to learn the rules at your house), knows his basic obedience commands (sit, stay, come, down) and tolerates riding in a car. Baymax is very sweet with humans, but prefers all the attention to himself so he needs a home without other dogs/cats.
If you think your home is a good match for Baymax, please email Sue at dogs@s2springer.com and describe a bit about the home you would provide for this handsome boy.
