My story

Meet Maxine
She is a bit shy at first. Max has a calmer demeanor but loves to sit beside you and have her head scratched. Chasing paper balls is her favorite past time.

ATTENTION: Our Kittens are now available to fly out to other States. They will go in the Cabin with Volunteers. The adoption fee for this type of transport is 300.00 which includes all the Kittens will need to fly out (harness, leash, flight approved carrier, health certificate). There will be an extensive approval process for out of State Adoptions.

Why adoption is a great option

Maxine, a Houston Bombay cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bombay for sale in Houston, or seeking a Bombay cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bombay breeders who help with Bombay rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
