My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What an amazing mix sweet Mia is! This 4-yr-old beauty is a corgi/shepherd mix and just a sweetie! She is great with dogs and loves people, including respectful and gentle kids. Cats, not so much!

Mia is super loving, really enjoys walks and playtime, has loads of fun in her, and lots of love and cuddles to follow. She loves outdoor and nature time and will go with you to smell all the roses.  She makes friends easily with people and other dogs.

Mia relaxes well at home. While energetic, she knows when to chill and relax and loves it. She is always happy, very loving, and can be protective to alert you when someone is knocking.

From her foster family:

Mia is a silly, funny, loving little doll. She's 4 but seems more like a puppy. She loves to play and wrestle with dogs and humans, but also is a great snuggler and will kiss you whenever you want. She is a bit of an escape artist, so either a VERY secure yard where she is always monitored or please understand she needs to be on a leash when outside. Luckily she has no problem being on a leash and walks quite well. She needs some basic training but she doesn't pull and doesn't seem to show leash aggression. She does not, however, not like cats.

Mia is best suited for an active home, she would love to go on as many walks as possible a day and would be a great hiking/camping partner. She also LOVES kids. She is the first foster (of many) that I've had that chooses to follow my son around, sleep with him at night, and play with him instead of cuddling with me :)

Mia is house trained, crate trained, sleeps through the night, and loves all people and all dogs that she has come into contact with since coming into my home. But it is imperative she gets exercise both mental and physical, she's an active pup. With the current heat wave tug o' war and working on sitting on command seems to be working great in lieu of as many walks in the cooler weather.

Mia is updated on all shots, spayed, and will be chipped. Her adoption fee is $395.
