*****

MooMoo is 2 years old and weighs 7 lbs; she is bonded, and being rehomed, with Arden.  MooMoo is being rehomed because she was rescued as a stray from the street with the intent to foster her and find her a permanent home.

MooMoo has had two (2) mild eye infections that required prescription drops for 7-14 days, In case this happens again and because MooMoo does not like to be handled, she should be adopted by an experienced cat person.

What MooMoo's current foster says about children:  MooMoo has never been around children, so she recommends MooMoo does not live with children.

What MooMoo's current foster says about dogs:  MooMoo ignores the cat-friendly dogs, who also ignore her.  She should not be around dogs who would be overly interested in her.

What MooMoo's current foster says about cats:  MooMoo ignores the other adult cats in the household. She is calm and neutral around them, even when they have hissed at her.

MooMoo is not scared of humans, but she dislikes interaction; she has free roam throughout the house; she sleeps cuddling with her kittens in cat trees or cat beds; and she does well in a crate in the car.

MooMoo's current describes the ideal home/family:  MooMoo was pregnant when they found her.  They are placing her with one of her female kittens, Arden (born 02/27/22).  MooMoo is not fearful of humans, but she is uninterested and prefers the company of Arden.  They enjoy playing and cuddling with each other.  Arden is friendly, affectionate, and playful w/humans.  Like MooMoo, Arden is also vaccinated, spayed, and FIV/FeLeuk negative.  MooMoo abnd Arden's adopters should be cat-experienced because MooMoo does not like being handled and because Arden is a kitten and they can be a handful.  The ideal home would be a fairly quiet (no people constantly in and out) and have adults only or older, cat-savvy, gentle kids.

More about this rescue

Rescue Well was founded by Christine Sandberg in Baltimore, Maryland in 2011. Since its launch, it’s grown from offering post-adoption support to the city shelter, to offering several programs across Maryland, Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia. Our Programs focus on improving the lives of both pets and its owners. We proudly serve without judgment or expectations and we strictly follow our Rescue Well Engagement Model: ENGAGE > EDUCATE > EMPOWER.

Our organization’s programs are run by volunteers who are actively engaged in front-line intervention, community support, shelter support, and re-homing services for all pets.
