My story

********AVAILABLE NOW- I am in Yorkville Il awaiting my forever home*********

Looking for the love of your life?  I am right here!!

I am an adorable and sweet 1 year old Havanese Mix baby boy who is looking for my Happily Ever After. I have been through a lot the last several months. I was let out by my previous family to potty by myself. I decided to take myself for a walk and didn’t feel like going back. I went missing for a couple of months was likely hit by a car as my femur was broken.

I have had surgery and just released from cage rest. Woohoo!! I feel like a million dollars now.

I am running and playing like a crazy kiddo. I’m still healing but I’d love a forever family who is going to care for me and love me forever.

I am the missing piece to completing your wonderful family.

Investing your time and love into me will be so worth it!!

I am good with children and other animals.

Please add a lotta unconditional love, sloppy kisses, tail wags and endless happiness to your family and contact for an adoption application and bring me home.

I will come with the works (Neutered, spayed, up to date on everything, micro chipped, fecal, heart worm tested if age appropriate, heartworm, flea and tick prevented, a free vet visit and medical insurance). What more could a new family ask for?

My adoption donation is $895

Love and Kisses,

Why adoption is a great option

ADOPTION PENDING Wally, a Yorkville Havanese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese for sale in Yorkville, or seeking a Havanese dog from a breeder in Yorkville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yorkville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yorkville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese breeders who help with Havanese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yorkville paves the way for another one to be saved.
