My story

Meet Macie! This sweetie is approximately 3 years old and is a Dudley Lab (could be mix – but who really knows – we do know that she is ADORABLE).
This precious girl was saved from Animal control, where her whole world was turned upside down. A Joshua Fund Volunteer saw the helplessness in her eyes and knew she had to save her life! The rest is history, and she will never be abandoned again!
Macie is doing wonderful in her foster home. She is house trained, loves to play and go for car rides! Her foster is working on leash training, licking and jumping. She is so eager to please and learn new things, she just has never been taught. She is catching on fast with repetitive positive training and treats. 😊 She is an awesome ball player and professional snuggler!
Macie weighs about 64 pounds, spayed, current on vaccines and micro-chipped. She would make a great addition to any family!

Why adoption is a great option

Macie, a Jay Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Jay, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Jay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jay paves the way for another one to be saved.
