My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I have been at the SPCA for over 500 days, so my adoption fee has been waived!!! So there is no charge to adopt her.

I came to SPCA in July of 2022 after my owner passed away and have been living here for over 500 days
Meet Pigeon, a charming canine resident of our shelter. Her personality is a unique blend of goofy and sweet, with a dash of independence. Though Pigeon may seem mellow and shy at first, don't let her introverted nature fool you. It simply takes her a bit longer to warm up to new friends, but once she does, she forms deep, lasting bonds. Pigeon is the perfect companion for those who appreciate the quiet joy of earned trust and the rewarding journey of a blossoming friendship. Pigeon is waiting for a forever home where she can share her unique charm and loving spirit.

I will need someone that is willing to give me a few days to "warm up to you" I have not been socialized at my old place. However, my foster mom says that i am a big baby and very sweet after I figured out that she was a loving Hooman! I will shy away from you at first, but I will be your best friend in a few days!

Patience, realistic expectations and a good match in a home environment are the keys to success!
