Is this not one of the cutest things you’ve seen in a while? A heeler with little short legs like a corgi. A heelgi? Corger? We are not sure what to call her (or her exact breeds) but boy is she cute. This 25lb girl is a lot of fun and energy in a 25lb package. She is in a foster home with our shelter partners and arriving to MN on Aug 6th. She is fairly solid on potty training (though as she changes to new schedule/environment) expect some accidents. She crates well while you are gone. As you can see she is good with kiddos, she lives with 3 currently. She also lives with another pup and does well. We have not seen her with kitties. She is estimated to be about 1-2 years old. She did test positive for heartworm disease which means she will need to go through treatment once she arrives in Minnesota. Not sure what heartworm treatment entails please check out our info: We also require all dogs under 2 to get signed up for training classes prior to going home with their new people!

Requirements: Training sign up required

Adoption Fee: $500 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing in dogs over 8 months of age, deworming, microchip and current Heartgard and Nexgard preventatives.

Why adoption is a great option

Thing 1, a Minneapolis Cattle Dog/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/Corgi for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Cattle Dog/Corgi dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/Corgi breeders who help with Cattle Dog/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
