Edith, also known Spitfire, is a crazy affectionate young cat. She wants to be loved by you, by you and nobody else but you. However, when she first meets someone she needs to take her time to get to know them. In other words, she is looking for someone who knows how to practice delayed gratification. Don’t eat that one marshmallow now because you will get two if you just wait a bit! The fact that she makes you earn her love just makes it that much more valuable. Remember that when all she wants to do is sit on your chest when you really should be getting ready for work. Or when you’ve had enough kisses and rubs but she is just getting started. In other words, if you are patient you will be rewarded with loving, snuggling fur beast of the best kind.
