My story

Greetings! My name is Parker! I was found in a car engine and brought to a shelter and I was saved by Habitat 4 Paws! After that rough start I have now settled into the “kitty spa” lifestyle. I am very active and love to play with all the toys -- string on a stick, track ball, ice cube kickball, you name it... I also love the other cats in my temporary foster home. I would probably do best if my permanent home had another cat or two to keep me company. I am super sweet and will start purring as soon as you pick me up or pet me. I am litter box trained and use the scratching post, so all good there. If I am not playing or napping, I want to hang out near my humans or other cats. I have not been around a dog but I’m sure I’d do fine once we check each other out. I can’t wait to find the purr-fect family who will love and care for me all the days of my life!. Don’t delay, put in an application on me today!
Email info@habitat4paws.org for an application. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more on adoption policies, please see the Adopt page of our website, www.habitat4paws.org.

Why adoption is a great option

Parker, a Frisco Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Frisco, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Frisco.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Frisco already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Frisco breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Frisco paves the way for another one to be saved.
