My story

I was found alone on the streets skinny and very hungry. Luckily I found a nice human that fed me and took me in. I showed them how loving I was and how happy that I was off the streets. I love humans for saving me and I love to show them that. Unfortunately I do not feel the same way about other cats or dogs. I do not like to share my humans. If you take me into your home, I will be so appreciative and give you love.
I have been spayed and microchipped. I tested negative for FIV an Felv. I have had all my shots and have been dewormed. They did a fecal test to check for parasites and that was negative. No fleas for me, I have been treated.

Why adoption is a great option

Ellie, a Upland Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Upland, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Upland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Upland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Upland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Upland paves the way for another one to be saved.
