My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ember is a 2 and a half yr old female "black tortie" rescue from a no-kill shelter. She is energetic, playful and curious (loves to watch birds and other critters out the windows). She is just a little much for my young senior and older senior cats. I think a younger cat closer to her age to play with would be much better, or she would be fine also as a single cat in the household as long as there is some playtime. She has been around a young child on occasion, and both males and females, but takes a moment before coming out to visit when company arrives. She lets me clean out her ears if needed, clip her nails, and brush her. She sleeps near me in bed most of the time. And even though I hardly get any bugs in the house, when I do, she always finds and catches them! She knows when it's time for her treats in the morning after rising and when I arrive home from work in the evening, like clockwork, lol. She makes a good human companion and would make for a good playmate for a young cat
