My story

What's up, y'all? I'm Rocky, and I am ready to retire. A 6 years young Schnauzer mix, I am ready for lots of lap time and lovin'. I am mastering leash walking and love car rides -- but only if I get to pick the tunes. The crate thing is not for me, but I am hard at work on potty training. I am friendly with other dogs, but I must insist on a fenced yard because I love to bounce around all over the place (don't let my age fool you). If you let me sleep on the bed on top of the covers, I'm all good. Let's do this! Rocky is neutered, up to date on all his vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm preventative. He’s also had a dental, is microchipped and dewormed. Rocky’s adoption fee is $325. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. If you're looking for a very sweet and lovable little fella to join your family, please fill out an application on AAP’s website.

Why adoption is a great option

Rocky-ADOPTION PENDING, a Bridgeton Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Bridgeton, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Bridgeton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bridgeton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bridgeton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bridgeton paves the way for another one to be saved.
