Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This Hippo Boy is 5 years old. He was named LOUIE while on the kill list at a high kill shelter. Then we found out that his real name is Travis- but we call him Hippo. So - Travis Louie Hippo Boy has been in our care for about a month. We NEED An ADOPTER FOR THIS SWEET ANGEL! He’s an #americanbully mix - he weighs 70 lbs. He’s neutered microchipped and up to date on Vax. He’s just a gigantic baby… who is good with other dogs HIS SIZE and children. We recommend kids over the age of 8 because of his size. If you can FIND IT IN YOUR HEART TO GIVE THIS LOVE BUG A FUREVER HOME WE WOULD BE SO GRATEFUL. We are over capacity with #largebreeds- seems everyone lives in a studio apartment in Los Angeles these days- we need #help if you’re interested in adopting TL Hippo Boy- Please email us at info@concernedcitizensanimalrescue.org and we will send you an application we do not transport animals and we do not accept phone calls initially. Thank you in advance for your interest in TRAVIS LOUIE HIPPO BOY! Travis Louie comes with one week of professional training and a lifetime discount on training thereafter. He needs a little help with leash work and will need to decompress for a week - 3 weeks before understanding your schedule and your consistency when it comes to feeding and walking. Right now he understands to do pee and poop outside on our schedule but will be confused in a new home. We need someone with patience and understanding to work on these things with Travis. Rescue is a joint effort.
