My story

This precious big girl (almost 70#) was found, as too many are, thrown out like garbage, but she's a true gem.
She's been vetted but she's had to be treated for the deadly heartworm disease because her owner sadly didn't think she was worth a cheap little pill once a month to prevent her from getting the disease.
Here in the Deep South, it's a losing gamble to not give prevention.
She is feeling much better and has pretty much recovered from the treatment, but she's still a pretty chilled out dog.
She doesn't like other dogs to come up and get in her business but she won't seek them out and get in theirs.
She's more a loner and prefers to be the only child.
She'd prefer a forever home, but at least a foster home since she's in boarding.
We cover everything for the fosters.
(Heartworms are NOT contagious for those unfamiliar!)
