My story

Crane was found in the streets of Philly with a broken jaw and was almost out of time.    BCAA stepped in and took him into rescue.    Crane is approximately 2 years old.    He has been in foster care for the last 2 months, recovering from having his mouth wired to fix the break, even in pain,  he was the sweetest boy.    He's very vocal and will tell you if you are late for meals.    He is very much a lap cat.    He will follow you everywhere always looking to be petted, there isn't a part on his body that you can't touch.    He appears to be fine with dogs, as long as they aren't big and barky.   He is up to date on his shots and is microchipped.     His foster mom keeps telling him he will never go back to the streets.  Let's get this boy adopted.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process starts with the applicant filling out an adoption application for the pet they are interested in. When they have completed and submitted the application, the screening process is started, which consists of a vet check, phone interview and home visit. Once all the steps are completed, we determine, by our findings, if they are approved, and if so, then they are allowed to adopt from our organization. The final step is they must complete the adoption contract, along with the donation for the animal, which goes into our medical fund to defray their medical costs. All of our animals are spayed and neutered, up to date on all their shots, including rabies, they are parasite free and on heartworm preventative.
