Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lusa is 6 months old, give or take a couple of weeks, and means 'black' in Choctaw. Here is her story, so far:
We took in four puppies, intending to only take one. We found out the other three, two girls and a boy, were going to a shelter in OK, one that was not a no-kill shelter, so we went back to get them and foster them until we could get them forever homes. We went through one round of parvo shots and were waiting the necessary time for the 2nd round, when three of the 4 got hit with it. Two made it through, with little effort, but the male was hit hard and did not make it. She is sched. for her 2nd round this week. She is crate trained, but she does have an accident in it every now and then. If the crate is just big enough for her to stand, but not squat, she is great! She will pace and/or bark to let you know she needs out, too.
