My story

Maddie is a sweet 1-year-old female American Pit Bull Terrier who loves everyone she meets and gets along well with other dogs.

Maddie is very smart, food motivated, and highly trainable. She is attentive and loyal, always wanting to follow your lead. With a bit of training, she will easily be a well-behaved dog. With just a few short training sessions she has learned to sit, walk on a leash, "kennel", "leave it", and is working on stay & recall.

She is currently intact but her adoption fee of $120 will include the spay, microchip (with lifetime registration), all vaccines (Rabies, DHPP series, and Bordetella), heartworm & tick-borne test, deworming, and 1 dose of flea/tick treatment.

Why adoption is a great option

Maddie, a Bernalillo American Pit Bull Terrier/Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Cattle Dog for sale in Bernalillo, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Bernalillo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bernalillo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bernalillo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Cattle Dog breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bernalillo paves the way for another one to be saved.
