My story

Taz - short for Tasmanian Tiger. (medium sized red male Shiba Inu)- 14Lbs and born in DEC 2021

Taz looks like the now-extinct Tasmanian Tiger. Or a red fox. Or somewhere between. One thing is for sure, he is a charming, clever dog. Abandoned by a breeder as un-sellable, Taz doesn't have the classic fat-faced Shiba Inu look and perhaps that's why he was cast aside. What he does have is the lean, expressive face of a thinking dog. Taz wasn't well socialized but he is gentle, fun-loving, and athletic, although a bit nervous. Starved for love, he doesn't quite know what to do with it, but he does know that when you leave the room he wants you back, and cries a little. He will need someone with a bit of patience, to let Taz figure out love and bonding on his own terms. Not sure he was ever potty-trained but he goes willingly to a pee pad without incident, so getting him to go outside should not be a problem. His foster mom will work on this and keep us updated.
He is stunning and has a friend by the name of Shinju who is a female all white. She is also posted and would be great to have them adopted together. Both are fully vetted and spay/neutered
Adoption fee for Taz is $1,100.00
And if adopted together would be $1000.00 each
Please email us at pets@findahomegiveahome.com
Part of your adoption fee will help other dogs in need. This rescue rescue pets who have been hit by car, abused or neglected.
If you are a senior please adopt a more mature dog. We do not adopt out of State unless you have a second home in Florida

More about this rescue

We pull dogs from the Kill Shelters and like to help the pets who need the most help either because they are scared, sick or in need of an operation. We believe that socialization is key to a happy family! All our dogs go to training if necessary, some got to the dog park or dog beach. We make sure our dogs are able to be picked up by all our volunteers for different events.
