My story

Maggie was rescued along with her four male puppies from a high kill shelter. She was originally found stray and very pregnant.

According to her foster mom, Maggie is very playful and loves to get belly rubs. If you have another dog in the family, she will play and play with them.

Maggie's adoption fee is $275, which includes all her vetting (spay, microchip, rabies vaccination, parvo/distemper vaccination, de-worming, bordetella vaccination, heartworm preventative monthly and flea & tick preventative monthly).

If you are interested in making sweet Maggie a part of your family, please go to our website and complete an Application For Adoption.

Why adoption is a great option

Maggie, a Garland Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Garland, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Garland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garland paves the way for another one to be saved.
