My story

My mom (Maggie), along with me and my three brothers were in a shelter and we didn't like it because it was loud and scary in there. As soon as Chloe's Pet Rescue heard we were there, they sent some nice people to pick us up and take us to the rescue. My name is Mason.

We really like it at CPR's foster home, we get lots of love and attention. Our Foster Dad built us a special toy apparatus where the toys hang down on ropes and swing and we try to catch them and pull them down. It's lots of fun and, of course, we fight and run around playing with each other like crazy. We're typical puppies and are looking forward with great anticipation to moving into our new "furever" home as soon as we can.

If you are interested in adding me to your family, please go to Chloe's Pet Rescue website and complete an Application for Adoption. Remember my name is Mason.

My adoption fee includes all my vetting (neuter, rabies vaccination, de-worming, microchip, 4 parvo/distemper vaccinations, two bordetella vaccinations, heartworm preventative and flea & tick preventative).

Why adoption is a great option

Mason, a Garland Corgi/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Dachshund for sale in Garland, or seeking a Corgi/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Garland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Dachshund breeders who help with Corgi/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garland paves the way for another one to be saved.
