My story

Hello everyone! My name is Shawna. I was rescued with my two brothers, Sinbad and Spoof. We came from a feral colony at a trailer park, and started life very nervous and fending for ourselves outdoors. Now we are so grateful to be spoiled indoor kittens. I started off very shy and was scared of people, but with the help of my foster mom I have opened up. Now I am a bubbly, playful kitten who does not like to be alone, I always need a buddy to play or snuggle with. I am full of energy, and love to chase toys. I go crazy for catnip mice! Sometimes my foster mom gives me treats, and I come running when I hear the treat bag! I eat them right from her hand. My foster mom also has a dog who I do well with after slow introductions, and I now love to explore my foster home and go on (indoor) adventures. If you want a bubbly, energetic kitten to brighten up your home, adopt me today! For more information or to apply to adopt please go to: https://www.purrpartners.org/adopt/

More about this rescue

Purr Partners Feline Rescue is a 501(c)(3), no-kill, foster-based, all-volunteer organization dedicated to saving the lives of cats and kittens in Central North Carolina — incorporated in 2009 by two friends, four cats, and no budget. These two women realized the need for a "cat only" rescue that worked with rural shelters — where cats routinely lose their lives. Purr Partners was founded to save the lives of those most in jeopardy with little hope of survival. High-kill rural shelters became the focus for Purr Partners, and that is still true today. From those humble beginnings, the rescue has grown to over a hundred active volunteers and a budget of approximately $175,000. At any given time there are between 100 and 150 cats and kittens in foster care. We have saved the lives of over 3500 cats and are still growing!
