My story

Meet Sandy! She's a super sweet girl who looks at you with her eyes as if she's trying to tell you something.......like take me home please. She was rescued as a tiny kitten from under a porch, found by herself, shy and scared, but luckily for her, someone found her and gave her a chance. She is now about a year old and is a bit timid and will take a little time to trust and get used to new surroundings. A quiet household is best for her. No small children. She gets along great with other cats though. She is fully vetted and healthy. She loves to be pet and leans in for more and even rolls over on her back to be rubbed. You are sure to fall in love if you meet her, especially with her unique gray and orange tabby markings.

More about this rescue

Goochland Community Cats is a registered 501(c)3 founded in 2014 in Goochland County, Virginia.
Here at The Goochland Community Cats, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all.
It is our goal to TNR (trap, neuter, and return) as many feral cats as we can, thus reducing the number of homeless cats in the county.
The cats are also looked at by a vet and given a rabies shot and anything that it is deemed that they need. We provide daily care, freshwater, and food for all our TNR'd cats.
